Beautifully Broken

Whatever you see as a flaw, hurt, misstep, or mistake in your life, those are the very broken moments that God will use in a powerful way.

Why? Because those are the very moments that we realize we are weak and we can’t depend on our own strengths but depend fully on His strengths.

If we trust Him–and surrender over the pieces, our broken shards of life become beautiful in His eyes, because He can redeem them and make them whole again. Then, in our vulnerability He can show up BIG– as our Savior, Redeemer, our Rescuer–and scrap us off of the bottom of the pit.

Isaiah 41:10 “Don’t panic, I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I am your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady. Keep a firm grip on you.”

God is asking, “I have you in My hand. Will you trust me with the pieces? Will you surrender what is broken so I can make it whole?”

Our past. Our shame. Our area of weakness. We mask them so the world can’t see. We hide our shame in darkness, behind leaves, like Adam and Eve. We cover ourselves so no one can really see the “real us.” Vulnerability is precisely where God wants us, because it is there that God can work through us. His Light can shine gloriously through the darkness and heal the pain, shame, and cover our weaknesses. Our weakness and healing will be used to show His strength. We will “boast in Christ alone” as the Great Healer of all wounds.

We were created for His purpose according to His design. There were no mistakes.

My regrets and shame will be turned to be used for His glory!

My worth is in Christ ALONE.

Following the path….and beautifully broken,
