Habakkuk 3:18-19

My favorite part about this verse is the “yet.”

The major theme of the book of Habakkuk is faith. Chapter 3, is the prophet Habakkuk’s prayer to God. He expresses his faith in God, even though he doesn’t fully understand it.

Fully-loaded, three-letter word that clearly says to the reader: “I don’t understand but I will trust….and YET I will rejoice.”

  1. This is beautiful Kelly and so TIMELY for me!! I will meditate on THIS truth today….I love how just before it says,

“Though the fig tree should not bloosom and there be no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive should fail and the fields produce no food….”

That’s how we feel right now 😉 though we might not know where we will live, or where we will work…YET we DO know Christ LIVES in us and God WORKS through us and we will REJOICE in Him!! Thank you for this encouragement Kelly!
