“You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble.” Psalm 32:7
In the arms of Jesus is a safe place to find comfort. He will protect you from all kinds of harm. Even though life on earth can be difficult at times, God knows and He will protect His people.
But what does this mean?
Going through our daily life, we worry about ISIS, who the next president will be, our own financial worries, and about people we love who are sick.
It can be overwhelming the amount of problems that can hang on to us and bog us down.
Sometimes it may feel like carrying an extra-large suitcase filled with bricks, the old-school kind that have a handle and no wheels. It can feel too heavy to carry.
But God promises that He will protect us from trouble. He has overcome the world. As long as we live in the world, we will be burdened with all kinds of worries. In those “heavy” moments, we can trust God to free us from the load.
